Why stay there
Truly exceptional. Our stay was a true source of pleasure: from the infinity pool to the tropical gardens, from the warm, elegant decor to the breathtaking sea views and the beachfront location (right next to Playa del Carmen’s main beach), not to mention the attentive staff…
This hotel lives up to its reputation. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt at home, surrounded by palm trees and enchanting scenery.
The infinity pool in particular caught our eye, creating the perfect place to relax after our island explorations. The generous buffets also did their part to recharge our batteries.

Why stay there
Unparalleled refinement. As a small boutique hotel structure, the team is able to provide a truly personalized service to each and every guest.
The rooms, sublime and bathed in light, exude a modern ambience. White predominates, creating a dazzling atmosphere.
We were also delighted by the view from the restaurant to the small beach nestling at the foot of the building.
Located in the heart of the city, this charming, small hotel offers a remarkable central location!

3. Lava Beach Hotel
Why stay there
Calm, comfort and elegance… these words sum up this hotel perfectly. The establishment exudes a refined beauty, with modern decor and spaces adorned with delightful succulents.
Seats and loungers are cleverly arranged, allowing everyone to enjoy their own corner of tranquillity.
We chose to pay for a superior room, to enjoy an unobstructed view of the sea. Lounging on the comfortable armchairs on our terrace, contemplating the gentle disappearance of daylight, proved most pleasant.
This hotel emphasizes its relaxing atmosphere, and we couldn’t agree more!

Why stay there
Another small, stylish luxury hotel in Puerto del Carmen, this time located near the port.
Once again, service and design stand out as exceptional.
This is an elegant oasis with splendid sea views. Its renown also stems from its Biosphere Responsible Tourism certification.
Here, no traditional white dominates, but a judicious use of metallic surfaces that act as mirrors, reflecting the beauty of the island of Lanzarote.
We loved the elegance of the place.

5. Hotel Secrets Lanzarote (in Puerto Calero, 10min drive)
Puerto Calero is just a 10-minute drive from the port of Puerto del Carmen.
It’s sometimes referred to as another district of Puerto del Carmen.
There’s also a 5-star hotel.
Why stay there
This adults-only establishment offers a luxurious experience in a unique setting on the island of Lanzarote. In our opinion, these are its main assets:
- Facilities: the hotel offers a wide range of services to meet all guests’ needs: 4 heated outdoor pools, a spa area, a fully-equipped gym, 6 restaurants, bars and other leisure facilities. We found the establishment to be very comprehensive. We highly recommend a stay here!
- Decoration: the hotel is tastefully decorated and offers a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are luxurious and equipped with all the comforts you need to feel good. We really liked the vegetation on the site. Exotic plants seemed to have taken over the outdoors!

6. Finca Isolina (Macher, 5 min drive)
Why stay there
And in a very different style, a little further from the sea, in the hills, you’ll find Finca Isolina. If you’re looking for something more traditional, this is the place for you.
It’s more like a B&B with just a few rooms.
It’s a Finca (country house) with whitewashed walls.
The location is secluded on a quiet street, so you’ll enjoy plenty of peace and quiet.
A lovely blend of traditional and modern design.
