Is the Secrets Hotel (Adults Only) worth it? Our review
We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s level of service and comfort. It is located next to Puerto Calero Marina and Faro. In our opinion, its greatest asset was its proximity to Puerto del Carmen (just 10 minutes away by car). The Puerto del Carmen marina is the starting point for dolphin-watching excursions. Decoration and atmosphere
Even before we stepped inside, we were struck by the resort’s highly geometric architecture. Still in the style of Lanzarote’s all-white villages, this hotel stands out for its clean lines and contemporary design. We had the sensation of discovering a modernized version of these famous white buildings, while retaining the colorful world and many exotic plants that make them so distinctive.

The resort is decorated in a casual chic style. We felt right at home. The many terraces and swimming pools were a real eye-catcher. Small areas of private beach invited us to relax. The atmosphere was cosy and conducive to relaxation. We highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a pleasant, yet luxurious vacation setting!

The room
Our room was particularly comfortable, in beige tones with touches of wood. It was spacious and offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We really liked the zebra wall, which added a touch of originality to the room. The brown linen headboard seduced us. She was very elegant. The decor was bohemian chic.

Lying in our huge bed, we could even make out a piece of the ocean! The view from the balcony of our room was truly magnificent. We lost ourselves in the contemplation of the landscape.

The rope armchair, wooden bedside tables and lighting fixtures made the room truly cocooning. The minicactus on the table was a nice nod to the island’s vegetation. We loved this room and felt particularly relaxed in it.

The bathroom
The bathroom in our room was very pleasant and nicely decorated. It featured a large shower with a marble-effect interior. The washbasin cabinet was equally charming, and a large, illuminated mirror completed the decor. We felt really relaxed there.

A kit of hygiene and care products bearing the hotel’s name was also available, allowing us to discover their own range of products.

The breakfast
The hotel’s breakfast is a large continental buffet. We were impressed by the choice of products on offer, there really was something for everyone! We had the choice of eating inside or on the terrace, which we liked. The setting was elegant and the decor particularly successful.

You’ll find sweet and savoury foods such as: pastries, fruit, cakes, different types of bread, cereals, muesli, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, sausages, and some ready-made dishes including mushrooms, tomatoes and peppers.

We fell in love with the selection of cut fruit! As pleasing to look at as it is to taste!
