Is the Hotel Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote worth it? Our review
We are very satisfied with our stay at this resort. It’s located just a few steps from the beach, and offers magnificent sea views. The quality of the services offered is excellent. It lives up to its reputation as one of the best 5-star hotels in Playa Blanca.
We liked the fact that several pools are child-friendly. The hotel also offers a variety of activities for all tastes and ages. You won’t be bored! We highly recommend this resort for a quality stay in Playa Blanca.
Decoration and atmosphere
Even before entering the resort, we were seduced by its exterior. The small white tower attached to the hotel gave the place a lot of charm.
The hotel decor was typical and exotic. It evoked nature. Vegetation seemed to be taking over the space. We were impressed by the flora that flourished inside the hotel complex. We imagined ourselves in an organized jungle!
Wood and stone furniture added to the authentic feel. Walls decorated with paintings and works of art gave the hotel a touch of sophistication. We found the brightness in the resort very pleasant, with the bay windows letting in the island sunshine! The atmosphere was decidedly warm and welcoming.

The room
Our room was in the traditional style of the Canary Islands, in beige tones with touches of wood. It was spacious and offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We particularly liked the different floor tiles, and the wooden furniture with ropes.
We were lucky enough to have a beautiful bay window that let the light in. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The combination of neutral colors and textures made the space very inviting.
The view from the balcony of our room was truly magnificent. We watched the sea on the horizon, and the mountains surrounding the resort. In fact, we had a breathtaking view of the bay of Playa Blanca and the nearby islands. Once night had fallen, we gazed at the panorama in wonder. It was truly a breathtaking spectacle!

The bathroom
In our room, the bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and double-sink basin. The room’s decor, with its blue and white tiling and woven wooden furniture, really appealed to us. Once again, she was talking about the Canary Islands and vacations!
We were provided with a treatment kit, towels, bathrobe and slippers. The toilets were separate. We found the water pressure satisfactory.
The breakfast
The hotel’s breakfast is a large continental buffet. We were impressed by the choice of products on offer, there really was something for everyone! Throughout the resort, you’ll find several breakfast areas, depending on opening hours.
We appreciated that some dishes and pastries were homemade. You’ll find sweet and savoury foods such as sausages, eggs, cold meats, cheeses, vegetables, yoghurts, cut fruit, cakes, breads and lots more.
We loved the fruity, colorful smoothies. Perfect to refuel before a day of island-hopping!
