Where to stay in Lanzorte with children
Is Lanzarote a good destination for children?
Yes, she’s not bad. You’ve got easy-access beaches, water parks, a zoo, dolphin watching and lots of hotels with swimming pools and kids’ clubs.
Where to stay in Fuerteventura with young children or teenagers?
Frankly, the 3 seaside resorts(Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise) have advantages for children and teenagers. You’ll have a great vacation wherever you go.
A few notes:
- If your teenager likes board sports, Costa Teguise may be more to his or her liking. Otherwise, for a wider choice of activities, we recommend Playa Blanca or Puerto del Carmen.
- Most boat tours depart from the Puerto del Carmen area
- The water parks are in Playa Blanca and Costa Teguise, but the zoo with small water park (Rancho Texas) is in Puerto del Carmen. Find out more about the water parks and zoo.

Why stay at the Princesa Yaiza Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. It’s located just a few steps from the beach, and offers magnificent sea views. The quality of the services offered is excellent.
We particularly liked it:
- choice of pools and all equipment.
- the typical Canary Island décor, with its mix of natural materials and vegetation
- its downtown location, close to all the restaurants

- direct access to Playa Dorada, the largest beach in the center of Playa Blanca, with sun loungers

Why stay at the Hotel Aequora
If you come to Puerto del Carmen with children, we highly recommend this hotel. The water sports areas are just perfect, with pools for all ages. We particularly liked the ones with the fish and the giant turtle.
Rooms are spacious and modern, with terraces of varying sizes.
We liked the brightness and good atmosphere of the hotel, with plenty of space for everyone.

Why stay at the Hotel Gran Castillo
This is one of Lanzarote’s best-known family hotels.
There’s plenty to do for all ages: clubs (under 4, 4 to 8 and over 8) with treasure hunts, theater, face painting, indoor soccer pitch, waterslide…
But, in addition to all the facilities for children, we really appreciated the multi-storey architecture, the castillo at the heart of the white buildings and the very spacious rooms.

- At the gateway to the beaches of Papagayo, so Playa Mujeres is not far away.

Why stay at the Hyde Park Lane Hotel
Another good option if you’re traveling with young children. The apartments are clean, functional and well-equipped.
This is a resort with activities for everyone, but with apartments instead of rooms, so you choose how you want to eat.
Children will love the swimming pool, wet play area and miniclub!
We also really appreciated the landscaping, with lots of palm trees and succulents.

5. Hotel H10 Lanzarote Gardens

Why stay at the H10 hotel in Costa Teguise
If you want your children to have a great time during their stay, we recommend the H10 Hotel. The pool is excellent, with its pirate ship and waterslides. And there’s plenty of entertainment for all ages!
We really liked the family atmosphere of this hotel. Everything is done to ensure that everyone has a good time.
If you like having access to activities all day and shows in the evening, you shouldn’t be disappointed.
However, if you’re coming without children and are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the hotel for you…

All-inclusive, it’s considered one of the best offers. Every evening, the buffet changes, offering menus from different countries.

Why stay at Aparthotel Jardines del Sol
In our opinion, this establishment is an excellent choice for a pleasant stay with family or friends in Playa Blanca. You can stay in fully equipped apartments that guarantee total independence. This is a more economical option, as you’ll be able to cook your own meals.
What’s more, the facilities are ideally suited to group vacations. Between the swimming pools, miniature golf course and Bar-Restaurant, you’ll never be bored!
We also really liked the landscaping, with its climate-appropriate plants and contrasting colors.

Another excellent hotel in Playa Blanca.
At Iberostar, we love the Star Prestige level rooms because they give access to special pools that are often very beautiful.
The hotel faces the sea in a circular arc. There’s nothing to block the view towards Fuerteventura and the island of Lobos.
We appreciate the spacious rooms and generous buffets.

We love the modern, colourful decor of the apartments – it puts a smile on your face when you get up! And this hotel is just a stone’s throw from the beach, which is ideal!

Why stay at MYND Yaiza Hotel
What immediately caught our eye at the Mynd (and then some) were the separate areas around the pools. And the hotel has plenty of pools!
Both sides are very large, with large swimming pools. On the right, adults relax and on the left, children have fun with great games and small slides.
We also really liked the ambiance and decor of the lobby and bar, as well as the minimalist, modern decor of the room.

We liked the geometric effects throughout the hotel.
