Offer for families in Puerto del Carmen
The hotel offer in Puerto del Carmen is very different: fewer hotels with slides, kids’ clubs and entertainment than in Playa Blanca or Costa Teguise.
But you’ll find more aparthotels with nice pools that are also perfect for families, if you’re not looking to keep your kids busy all the time.

1. Aequora Suites Hotel
Why stay at the Hotel Aequora
If you come to Puerto del Carmen with children, we highly recommend this hotel. The water sports areas are just perfect, with pools for all ages. We particularly liked the ones with the fish and the giant turtle.
Rooms are spacious and modern, with terraces of varying sizes.
We liked the brightness and good atmosphere of the hotel, with plenty of space for everyone.

Another good option if you’re traveling with young children. The apartments are clean, functional and well-equipped.
This is a resort with activities for everyone, but with apartments instead of rooms, so you choose how you want to eat.
Children will love the swimming pool, wet play area and miniclub!
We also really appreciated the landscaping, with lots of palm trees and succulents.

If you like to walk just a few meters to get your feet in the sand, then this hotel’s location will be perfect for you. Leaving the large swimming pool, you cross the street to the very large beach of Playa de los Pocillos.
This hotel is also renowned for its level of service: the staff are all smiles and always ready to help and advise.

8. Nautilus Lanzarote Hotel
Why stay at Hotel Nautilus
This is definitely the most surprising hotel we’ve discovered in Lanzarote. The pools and rooms/apartments are quite classic and rather pleasant. The complex is not too big and the atmosphere is relaxed.
But the lobby is filled with works of art and the lower level is an art gallery where we enjoyed spending time. We really liked the combination!
And we also liked the library section, where we could find books in several languages.
