If you’re looking for a very peaceful hotel with magnificent pools and the feeling of breathing fresh air, we recommend the Radisson Blu. It’s a little less central (a 15-minute walk), but offers a lot of peace and quiet!

Pirate ship, water slides, entertainment for all ages… If you’re looking for a hotel where your kids will have a blast all week, this is our recommendation.

Why choose Costa Teguise to stay in Lanzarote?
Our favorite thing about Costa Teguise is its great location, with easy access to all Lanzarote’s attractions.
On the other hand, this resort is smaller than Playa Blanca and Puerto del Carmen. We love its relaxed atmosphere!
Costa Teguise was also developed for tourism. So you’ll find very practical facilities and plenty of parking close to the beaches (which is not the case in other resorts).
This is one of the most popular places to stay in Lanzarote!

Staying in the heart of the city
Benefits:

Disadvantages:
- less calm
- difficult to park
Sleeping in the south between Playa Bastian and Playa El Ancla

- More space in hotels
- Pretty Playa Bastian beach

- Away from the center and its restaurants and beaches
Sleeping in the north
Benefits:
- not far north of Playa de las Cucharas

Teguise vs Costa Teguise
Teguise and Costa Teguise are not right next door. It’s a 25-minute drive between the two towns.
Teguise is charming and historic, but it’s not on the water!
OUR ADVICE FOR RENTING A CAR IN Lanzarote
- Compare prices on our preferred platform: DiscoverCars – one of the best rated sites.
- A small car is all you need.
- But you can also choose a larger one if you wish, as the parking spaces are rather large.
- Demand is high, so book early.
1. Hotel Barceló Teguise Beach (adults-only)
Why stay there?
It’s impossible to beat the Barcelo hotel’s location in the heart of the city.
This is an elegant hotel with 2 beautiful pools that immediately charmed us. They are ideal for those who love to swim.
Our room was spacious with a sitting area. We had a beautiful terrace with jacuzzi and sea view. A great way to unwind at the end of a day exploring Lanzarote!

- 1 full-length infinity pool with sea view
- Between the beaches of Playa de las Cucharas (the main one) and Playa del Jablillo. Very easy to access.

2. Aparthotel Nazaret Apartments
Why stay there?
If you don’t want to eat out at every meal, the aparthotel is an excellent option. We really liked Nazaret Apartments.
The pool area is very large and quiet, so it’s easy to breathe. Our apartment was quite spacious with a small, well-designed kitchen and a pleasant terrace.
We also found the welcome very warm. It was very pleasant from the moment we arrived.
What’s more, they’re conveniently located in the heart of town, with access to all the restaurants (for when you’re tired of cooking) and beaches.

- A beautiful heated outdoor swimming pool. It’s L-shaped, with plenty of space all around. Very pleasant.

- The main beach (Playa de las Cucharas) is a 5-minute walk away.

3. Radisson Blu Resort Hotel (adults-only)
Why stay there?
If you’re looking for a peaceful, elegant stay with a feeling of space to breathe, we recommend the Radisson Blu hotel.
It’s not right in the center, but it’s not far either (15 min from all downtown restaurants). We immediately appreciated the hotel’s relaxing atmosphere.
The variety of seats and armchairs facing the pools and the sea was very pleasant, even if it’s not always easy to choose!
We also like the spacious rooms with their natural tones and modern decor. And everyone has at least one little balcony to enjoy the view!

- The areas around the pools are spacious, offering a peaceful atmosphere.
- Playa Bastian beach, with its mix of sand and rocks, is just a 2-minute walk away.

4. Hotel Oasis Lanzarote Beach Mate
Why stay there?
We also fell in love with the Oasis Hotel. From the moment we entered, we were charmed by the warm, modern decor.
The 2 swimming pools and tennis courts are perfect for relaxing and doing a bit of sport.
The atmosphere is very pleasant, with small white buildings surrounded by green plants.
And the hotel is centrally located with easy access to restaurants and beaches!

5. Hotel H10 Lanzarote Gardens (family)
Why stay there?
If you want your children to have a great time during their stay, we recommend the H10 Hotel. The pool is excellent, with its pirate ship and waterslides. And there’s plenty of entertainment for all ages!
We really liked the family atmosphere of this hotel. Everything is done to ensure that everyone has a good time.
If you like having access to activities all day and shows in the evening, you shouldn’t be disappointed.
However, if you’re coming without children and are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the hotel for you…

If you’re looking for a resort with plenty of daytime and evening activities, we recommend Vitalclass: tennis court, spa, swimming pool, darts, disco… you won’t get bored.
The rooms are very spacious and practical, and some have a terrace.
The hotel is located in the southern part of the city, a 10/20-minute walk from restaurants.

7. Hotel Grand Teguise Playa
Why stay there?
In this hotel, you’ll start by being surprised by the lobby and all its plants. We were. The hotel is a little dated, but they’ve done a good job of modernizing it this way…
We also really appreciated the direct sea views while still being right in the center of town.
And the beachside seawater pools are a real eye-catcher!

But it is currently being renovated.

9. Aparthotel Nazaret Mansion (3 stars)
Why stay there?
If you’re looking for a human-scale hotel with a small in-room kitchen, the Nazaret Mansion is worth considering.
We found the style of the hotel’s public areas very attractive and charming. The lagoon-style pool is small but very pretty.
The apartments are spacious, but not as modern as other hotels.
It’s more of a hotel for day-trippers exploring the wonders of Lanzarote.
