Hotel options with waterparks in Lanzarote
On the island of Lanzarote, you’ll find..:
- A hotel with access to a large water park right next door (Aqualava): Hotel Lanzasur
- A number of hotels with swimming pools and waterslides for toddlers, such as Hôtel Aequora and Hôtel Gran Castillo.
- Hotels with water parks a little more developed for older children too: Hotel TBH Tropical Island and Hotel HL Paradise Island
But you can also choose a family hotel in Lanzarote, and go to one of the 3 water parks on Lanzarote.

Why stay there
If you want access to a large water park for the whole family, there’s no equivalent on Lanzarote. This is the hotel with the water park, but it’s open to outsiders.
A great combination of facilities for family holidays.
There’s plenty of fun and relaxation for everyone: bungalows for more peace and space, beautiful swimming pools, access to the AquaLava water park, open all year round…

2. Aequora Suites Hotel

Why stay there
If you come to Puerto del Carmen with children, we highly recommend this hotel. The water sports areas are just perfect, with pools for all ages. We particularly liked the ones with the fish and the giant turtle.
Rooms are spacious and modern, with terraces of varying sizes.
We liked the brightness and good atmosphere of the hotel, with plenty of space for everyone.

OUR ADVICE FOR RENTING A CAR IN Lanzarote
- Compare prices on our preferred platform: DiscoverCars – one of the best rated sites.
- A small car is all you need.
- But you can also choose a larger one if you wish, as the parking spaces are rather large.
- Demand is high, so book early.
3. Gran Castillo Tagoro Hotel
The essentials:
- Location: Playa Blanca

Why stay there
This is one of Lanzarote’s best-known family hotels.
There’s plenty to do for all ages: clubs (under 4, 4 to 8 and over 8) with treasure hunts, theater, face painting, indoor soccer pitch, waterslide…
But, in addition to all the facilities for children, we really appreciated the multi-storey architecture, the castillo at the heart of the white buildings and the very spacious rooms.

- Next to Coloradas beach (but little sand)
- At the gateway to the beaches of Papagayo, so Playa Mujeres is not far away.

4. Hotel H10 Lanzarote Gardens
The essentials:
- Location: Costa Teguise
- Type: Hotel-resort
- Price range: 4 stars
- All-inclusive available: yes
Why stay there
If you want your children to have a great time during their stay, we recommend the H10 Hotel. The pool is excellent, with its pirate ship and waterslides. And there’s plenty of entertainment for all ages!
We really liked the family atmosphere of this hotel. Everything is done to ensure that everyone has a good time.
If you like having access to activities all day and shows in the evening, you shouldn’t be disappointed.
However, if you’re coming without children and are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the hotel for you…

Why stay there
Another excellent hotel in Playa Blanca.
At Iberostar, we love the Star Prestige level rooms because they give access to special pools that are often very beautiful.
The hotel faces the sea in a circular arc. There’s nothing to block the view towards Fuerteventura and the island of Lobos.
We appreciate the spacious rooms and generous buffets.

- A children’s pool with colorful decorations and small slides
- Easy access to Playa Flamingo, almost right outside the hotel – our favorite beach in Playa Blanca.

6. MYND Yaiza Hotel
The essentials:

Why stay there
What immediately caught our eye at the Mynd (and then some) were the separate areas around the pools. And the hotel has plenty of pools!
Both sides are very large, with large swimming pools. On the right, adults relax and on the left, children have fun with great games and small slides.
We also really liked the ambiance and decor of the lobby and bar, as well as the minimalist, modern decor of the room.

Why stay there
A beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and a great little pool for the little ones.
We liked the geometric effects throughout the hotel.

- The Playa de los Charcos beach is right next door (sandy but with lots of rocks to get into the water).
- The north end of the main beach (Playa de las Cucharas) is a 5-minute walk away.
