1. Lani’s Gourmet Restaurant
Eating a bistronomic meal while contemplating the splendid blue expanse of the Atlantic – isn’t that what vacations are all about? Discover refined cuisine and awaken your senses at Lani’s Gourmet restaurant. Beyond the idyllic seafront setting, we were won over by the quality of the food and service. The team in the dining room will make sure you have a memorable time, and the chef will impress you with the finesse of his cuisine.
Between land and sea, the menu focuses on seafood products, including tuna, salmon, lobster, prawns and lobster, as well as octopus. If you prefer other white or red meats, you will also be served. Iberian ham, beef strogonoff, Provençal chicken breast and lamb shoulder are also on offer. Vegetarian options are available à la carte, such as pasta with seasonal vegetables and truffles, or risotto with porcini mushrooms. A wide choice of drinks awaits you à la carte, and in fact a glass of champagne and a non-alcoholic fruit cocktail were offered to us on arrival at the table. We have fond memories of this colorful and delicious meal.

At this gourmet restaurant in Puerto del Carmen, sublimating local products is a real art! At Restaurant Mácher60, your dishes will be as beautiful as they are delicious. 3. The Little Elm Restaurant
At The Little Elm Restaurant, you’ll find generous, convivial cuisine. The team in the dining room will take great care to make your meal as pleasant as possible! But before we talk about the menu, you’re probably wondering what the name of this charming establishment refers to? Country elm is a foliage tree growing up to 30 m tall, found in Asia, North Africa and the British Isles. Did you know that in medieval France, the elm was the tree of justice?
In an almost rustic ambience and uncluttered décor, you’ll be able to choose from several great classics of successful English cuisine. Grilled red meats and fish, a selection of vegetarian dishes such as lasagne with caramelized onions, spinach and mushrooms or a burger revisited with black beans make up the menu.
Children are also entitled to their own menu, with a choice of meats and side dishes to suit their tastes, plus dessert. And finally, every Sunday from 4.30pm, you can opt for a special British-style menu with the traditional Sunday roast, a British Sunday dish. Enjoy your meal!

We were charmed by the modern ambience in blue and white tones, which give the place a real cachet. The peacock, a graceful and distinguished bird, is the star of the decor, a symbol of renewal!
This elegance is also reflected in the menu. The à la carte menu features mixed salads, hot and cold starters, as well as meats, grills and local fish. In a rustic yet elegant setting, with exposed wooden beams and white or stone walls, open the door to Restaurant La Cascada. In the heart of the bustling old town of Puerto Del Carmen, you’ll discover a cuisine that takes care of its raw materials to offer you the best of Lanzarote’s local gastronomy.
As the seasons change, the chef introduces us to the riches of Canarian gastronomy. Artichoke blossom, boletes, octopus or black pig, get ready to feast! And don’t forget the local wines. Another restaurant specialty: grilled beef from Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Ireland.

As you can probably guess, one of Lanzarote’s culinary traditions is barbecuing! It’s also one of the specialties of the My Kitchen restaurant in old Puerto Del Carmen, where a variety of meats are available grilled or barbecued. In a warm atmosphere, you can enjoy your dishes with cranberry, apple, horseradish (a strong, piquant condiment) or mint sauces. This establishment also serves the traditional British Sunday roast for lunch and dinner. This is the place for meat lovers of all ages! The restaurant does indeed offer a children’s menu.

9. Restaurant Bistro Arbol
It’s possible to eat healthily on vacation! Restaurant Bistro Arbol was a great discovery during our stay. In a green setting with climbing plants and wooden stakes, we enjoyed a pleasant, well-balanced meal. A 100% organic menu awaits you in this delightful bistro. This establishment will prove to you that vegetarianism can rhyme with pleasure and the art of the table. The vegetables, fruit, herbs and plants you use to dress your dishes are sourced mainly on the island, so go local!
From knife-cut Belgian fries to red bean and quinoa burgers, homemade falafel and mouth-watering desserts, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu’s variety.
Bistrot Arbol also shares its passion for local craft beers and wines. You’ll find almost forty beer references on the menu, brewed in the Canary Islands, Spain and Belgium.

10. Flow Experience Restaurant
Have you heard of vegan tapas? The Flow Experience kitchen team will give you a culinary demonstration. Do you prefer “zorongollo” with Extremadura peppers in Dijon sauce or “patatas bravas”? On the menu of this fusion cuisine, you’ll discover both vegan tapas and tapas with meat or even chicken. For a more substantial meal, opt for the traditional curry stew sprinkled with flower petals, or Kung Pao-style Chinese prawns. At Flow Experience, tastes and colors are not up for discussion, but are brought together harmoniously on your plate to create an explosion of flavors.

Finding a good place to eat a variety of homemade Asian dishes is not always easy, and even less so on vacation. We’ve unearthed this little gem in Puerto Del Carmen, the Asian Home Restaurant. On the spot or to take away, come and taste Japanese, Thai or Chinese specialities. Soups, salads, rice and noodle dishes, as well as vegetarian options, the menu is extensive.
You’ll be able to eat healthily at a more-than-affordable price, in a warm, family atmosphere. The friendliness of the staff in the dining room is unquestionable! Strolling through one of Puerto Del Carmen’s shopping areas, you’ve probably spotted the Vino + restaurant and tapas bar. Local wine lovers, this is the place for you. Wine production and cultivation is an age-old tradition on Lanzarote. The climate, vegetation and natural dark soil of mineral and volcanic character make these vines unique in the world, cultivated in the traditional way. A taste of the Canary Islands’ terroir also means tasting one or more of its dry or sweet, white, rosé or red wines.
In a festive, musical atmosphere, a wide choice of refined tapas is served on the lively terrace of this renowned wine bar. Local cheeses and cold meats, smoked fish and sweet delicacies served indoors or outdoors are the perfect accompaniment to Lanzarote wines, also known as volcano wines. 14. La Caña restaurant and tapas bar
Typical tapas on the terrace, an “à la bonne franquette” atmosphere, home cooking with no fuss, far from the tourist restaurants… That’s what you’ll find at La Caña restaurant and tapas bar in Puerto Del Carmen. It’s a place for sharing, laughing with friends and family, and discovering new flavors. We loved the restaurant’s welcoming atmosphere.
Now a Lanzarote tradition, the customary British-style Sunday roast is also served every Sunday by prior arrangement.
Take a seat on the terrace, with its white walls and wooden tables surrounded by cacti and succulents, and enjoy your local tapas accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. Beers, wines, cocktails and soft drinks are all on the menu.

15. Taberna de Nino restaurant and tapas bar
The Taberna de Nino restaurant and tapas bar in the old town offers excellent value for money. Fried fish, salads, peppers, cold meats or cheeses from local producers can be shared on the terrace of this charming tavern at a classic indoor table or on high chairs around a wooden barrel. For 2 people, 4 to 5 dishes of tapas to share can be enough for a meal, as the portions are generous.
The reputation of this establishment is well established, as it is fully booked every lunchtime! Another guarantee of the freshness of the products served. The attentive front-of-house team will be happy to give you a detailed presentation of the tapas on the menu, whatever your dietary restrictions.
