Why stay at the Lemon & Soul Cactus Garden Hotel?
This hotel offers a complete range of services for a relaxing stay by the sea. In fact, we’ve listed it among the best hotels in Morro Jable. Here, in our opinion, are the 3 main assets of this establishment:
- Location close to Playa del Matorral: just a few minutes’ walk from this large white sandy beach, you’ll be able to swim and enjoy all kinds of water sports with ease!
- Relaxed atmosphere: if you’re looking for a hotel with a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere and friendly service, the Lemon & Soul Cactus Garden is for you!

Is the Lemon & Soul Cactus Garden Hotel worth it? Our review
In our opinion, staying at this hotel residence is a good option if you’re looking for comprehensive services, but in reasonably-sized accommodation. Indeed, at Lemon & Soul Cactus Garden, you can enjoy a warm, relaxed atmosphere, with a particularly friendly staff. It’s an ideal spot for swimmers, as the beach is only a few meters away. And if you want to enjoy the scenery above all, you’ll be glad you stayed here, because the views are truly magnificent!
Decoration and atmosphere
The decor is sober and classic, with a predominance of white and brown tones. However, we did like the presence of parquet flooring in different shades of wood, which we found throughout the hotel’s common areas. The use of this natural material immediately put us in a vacation mood! A few original decorative touches dotted the hotel residence, including this dromedary sculpture that greets visitors on the first floor. It went perfectly with the desert landscapes of this part of Fuerteventura!
Speaking of desert landscapes, we can’t fail to mention the central decorative element: the cactus. Cacti are an integral part of the hotel’s identity, as the name suggests. We’ve seen many different kinds, as here on the first floor, topped by comfortable wicker armchairs.
Other exotic plants brightened up the common areas, which we really appreciated.

The room
The room reflected the hotel’s cactus theme, with a closet door covered with a photo of this very special plant. It matched perfectly with other green elements in the room (cushions, curtains, etc.). The bed was topped by a view of the ocean and beach, an iconic Fuerteventura landscape. The panorama was enhanced by the lighting.
The room was well equipped. On the desk, we had a coffeemaker, a kettle, a bottle of water, 2 cups, as well as tea, sugar and coffee. We also found a minibar, slippers, a beach towel and 2 waffle cookies on our bedside table. In the lounge area, with its sofa and coffee table, a towel was folded into the shape of a very pretty elephant!
The balcony was also really nice, with 2 chairs and a small table. We enjoyed the view over the volcanic landscape of Morro Jable, with the sea in the distance.

The bathroom
The bathroom was quite satisfactory, with a rather spacious walk-in shower. We had a bathrobe that was pleasant to wear.
This bathroom was indeed well equipped. In addition to shower gel, we had all kinds of hygiene products (comb, shaving kit, bathing cap, sponge…). This is the hotel for you if you tend to forget certain toiletries in your suitcase!
The breakfast
Breakfast is served buffet style. Simple but varied, you’ll find local and international dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the onsite restaurant, “La Oliva”. However, meals can also be taken on the pleasant outdoor terrace.
