Best family resort
The Caleta de Fuste complex is often considered the best for children. It is rich in swimming pools and is located right next to a beach with a gentle slope. There are plenty of entertainers for several age groups.

The Iberostar hotel complex in Morro Jable includes a 5-star hotel, the Selection Palace. It’s located just above the beach with beautiful swimming pools.

Where to stay in Fuerteventura with children
Is Fuerteventura a good destination with children?
Yes. With dolphins, beaches of all styles, a water park, squirrels and suitable hotels, Fuerteventura is a great destination for children.

With young children, you’re probably looking for a lagoon-like beach with a gentle slope and lots of sand.

Where to stay in Fuerteventura with teenagers
With slightly older children, we prefer Corralejo.

1. Hotel Barcelo Corralejo Sands – best hotel in Fuerteventura with children
Why choose it
The Barcelo Corralejo Sands hotel offers a pleasant stay thanks to its central location, making it easy to enjoy the charms of the city. The spacious rooms are a haven of comfort, offering all the space you need to relax after a busy day. What we liked most was the careful design of the hotel, which avoids the massive appearance often associated with large properties. This creates a welcoming, convivial atmosphere.
For children
A particular advantage for families with young children is the dedicated area specially designed for them. With an adapted swimming pool and play area, parents can easily keep an eye on their children while enjoying moments of relaxation. It’s the perfect place to play together and create precious family memories.

2. Barcelo Caleta de Fuste – best family resort
Why choose it
Similarly, in Caleta de Fuste, you’ll find a hotel complex with 4 hotels, 1 of which is exclusively for adults.
There’s something for everyone, including a giant spa shared by all the hotels.
Rooms are spacious and modernly decorated, offering a comfortable place to rest and recharge after a busy day.
We particularly liked the two Royal-Level hotels, as they offer a quieter environment, yet still have access to entertainment when you want it.
For children
So you have access to several pools (depending on the hotel you choose, with or without entertainment). There are clubs for all ages with entertainers. Table tennis, outdoor games… there’s plenty to choose from!
The 4 hotels are right on the beach, offering easy access to the seafront as well as to the town and its restaurants. And Caleta de Fuste beach is one of the most convenient for young children. The sandy area is wide and the slope to enter the water is very gentle.

Barcelo Royal Level family swimming pool
This hotel has a pool for toddlers and another for older children and adults. It’s much quieter than the resort’s other pools. But if one day, you want a bigger pool, you can go and enjoy the others.
This part of the hotel doesn’t lead directly onto the beach, but it’s less than a 5-minute walk away, so it’s not difficult… And you’re a little quieter.

Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar swimming pool
Large, pleasant pools for swimming or just relaxing in the water.
The beach is just outside the hotel, so you don’t even need to wear shoes, just cross the boardwalk and have your feet in the sand.
This is the busiest part of the hotel.

Barcelo Castillo swimming pool
2 outdoor pools with beautiful views of the sea, beach and mountains. At the center of these pools is the Castillo, Torre de San Buenaventura. It was a defensive tower built in the 18th century. It is 6m thick.

3. Morro Jable Iberostar Hotel Complex

The Iberostar Morro Jable hotel complex is located just above a beautiful sandy beach. You can easily enjoy the pleasures of the seaside and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. It also offers a variety of sports facilities, such as tennis and archery…
The hotels’ large swimming pools are a real asset for relaxing and soaking up the sun. For travelers who, like us, opt for the Star-Prestige level, the exclusive additional pool offers an intimate, luxurious setting with its overflow over the beach and sea.
The rooms are spacious, with all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay.
For children
At the heart of the complex is a swimming pool particularly suited to young children, with magnificent colorful decorations.
There are also plenty of activities for children and teenagers alike.

4. Hotel H10 Tindaya in Costa Calma
Why stay at the H10 Tindaya hotel
We found the H10 Tindaya hotel to have a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The bright, sunny colors adorning the common areas create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding.
What’s more, the hotel enjoys a privileged location close to the magnificent beaches of Costa Calma or the city center.
For children
For families traveling with young children, the H10 Tindaya offers a variety of activities suitable for the little ones. Play areas, children’s clubs and fun activities are carefully designed to provide fun and enjoyment for young travelers, while parents can relax in peace and quiet.

5. Hotel Playa Park Zensation in Corralejo
Why stay at the Playa Park Zensation hotel?
At the Playa Park Zensation hotel, we enjoyed its spacious pools, complete with a small slide, and also the adults-only rooftop pool. Beautiful views of the sea and volcanoes! We found the rooms modern and well appointed. They offer all the comforts you need to rest after a day of adventure.
What’s more, the hotel’s location is a real asset, not only close to the beach, but also next to the charming El Campanario shopping center.

There’s also an adults-only rooftop pool.
The Playa de los Verilitos beach is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

6. Aparthotel and Hotel Las Playitas
Why choose it
This hotel doesn’t have the full all-inclusive because it’s a sports hotel. But they do offer full board, ideal for those looking to enjoy, spend and relax.
The location is quiet and beautiful, overlooking a large black sand beach.
You have access to a huge number of sports facilities: 5 swimming pools, tennis courts, badminton, golf course, mini-golf, climbing wall, boxing gym…

The complex offers 5 outdoor pools, including one for children (divided between this hotel and the aparthotel).
They are open all year round.
One of the pools is infinity, another has a waterslide and one is Olympic-sized.
Just down the road from the hotel, you’ll find Las Playitas beach. It’s a long, wide beach with beautiful black sand.

7. Broncemar Beach Suites in Caleta de Fuste
Why stay at the Broncemar Hotel
The Broncemar Beach hotel in Caleta de Fuste offers a modern, uncluttered ambience that’s seductive from the moment you arrive. Our spacious, spotlessly clean rooms offer all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay. Some rooms are equipped with a mini-kitchen, which is ideal if you want to take a break from the restaurants and prepare your own meals.

Why stay at the Fuerteventura Princess hotel
In Esquinzo, you’ll find some great resort hotels.
Our favorite is the Fuerteventura Princess because we particularly loved the pool levels and their lagoon effect.
It’s a very large complex, but it’s been very well laid out so as not to have a mass effect.

- Large pool areas on several levels. It’s very pleasant, given the size of the hotel, as it spreads people out and creates less of a mass.

Why stay at the Bahia Calma Beach hotel?
The Bahia Calma Beach hotel in Costa Calma is an excellent option for a pleasant stay in the Canaries. We enjoyed our well-equipped apartment with kitchen (which offers real autonomy).
The charm of this establishment lies in its alleys lined with small buildings, creating a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. The simple, harmonious architecture blends in perfectly with the surrounding environment, contributing to an authentic Costa Calma experience.
What’s more, the Bahia Calma Beach hotel’s central location is a real asset. Right in the heart of the city, you’ll be close to stores, restaurants and local attractions, making it easy to get around and discover the essence of this charming destination.
The apartments and peaceful surroundings are perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet with very young children.
