We answer all your questions about water parks in Fuerteventura to help you make the most of your stay.
We tell you about the Acua Water Park, in Corralejo, and your alternatives in winter and when it comes to family hotels.
This opinion is completely independent, based on our experiences. We visited the region anonymously, making our own choices and paying our bills in full.
Does Fuerteventura have one water park or several?
Fuerteventura’s only water park
The island of Fuerteventura has just one water park. It is located in the very north of the island, in the town of Corralejo. It’s called Acua Water Park.
Consequently, if you’re staying in the south (Morro Jable or Costa Calma), you’ll have to do quite a bit of driving, as the island is long.

We’ll tell you more about this park in a dedicated section below.
- Caleta de Fuste to Acua Water Park = 40min drive
- Costa Calma to Acua Water Park = 1h30
- Morro Jable to Acua Water Park = 1h40
But it closes in winter.
The only other alternative is to take the ferry to the water parks on Lanzarote.
Water parks that don’t exist
We’ve seen mentions of other parks, so we’ll clarify:
- Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura is a zoo and botanical garden. There is no swimming pool. This is not to be confused with Rancho Texas Park on Lanzarote, which has an aquatic area.
- AquaPark Costa Calma doesn’t exist, people confuse it with AquaPark Costa Teguise on the island of Lanzarote.

Ferry to Lanzarote and AquaLava waterpark
If the Acua park isn’t enough for you, or if you’re traveling in winter and absolutely must have fun in a water park, we recommend taking the ferry to Lanzarote.
There are ferries for pedestrians only, or ferries you can take with your car (if authorized by the rental company).
Why choose it
AquaLava is another great water park in Lanzarote, and it has the advantage of being open all year round.
Located in the south of the island, it highlights its volcanic character. They even use a geothermal system to heat the pools.
We liked the design of the park, which isn’t too big, which is nice for staying together as a family.
What you’ll find: slides, pools…
- The Aqualava lagoon pool, which regularly becomes a wave pool
- Timan Fire with 5 winding slides
- The Magma River for float trips
- Corsario Bay for the little ones with a giant octopus
- Deckchairs
- free wifi
- Please note that many attractions are not accessible to children under 1m20.
