Staying at the XQ El Palacete hotel was an unforgettable experience!

Located in Morro Jable, a coastal town in the south of the island of Fuerteventura, this establishment offers splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean. With its spacious rooms and numerous facilities (spa, games room, gym…), this hotel has a lot to offer. You’ll enjoy an ideal location close to downtown and Playa del Matorral!

Magnificent views of the beach and sea: thanks to its coastal location, you can enjoy many spectacular views of the beach and sea, from the rooms or common areas. We really enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the scenery on our balcony!

Spacious rooms: our room was large and well-appointed, with a sitting area opening onto the balcony, making for a comfortable vacation!

Proximity to the center of Morro Jable: the hotel’s proximity to the center of Morro Jable is very convenient. We were able to enjoy the city’s stores, restaurants and bars with ease.

Is the Hotel XQ El Palacete worth it? Our review

Do you enjoy relaxing to the sound of the waves? Then this is the hotel for you! The major asset of this establishment is its setting: the sea as far as the eye can see, the Playa del Matorral under our feet, we were won over by this accommodation! We’ve listed it among the 15 most beautiful beaches on Fuerteventura. The hotel also offers a full range of facilities (swimming pool, Jacuzzi, bar…). We also appreciated its location in downtown Morro Jable, ideal for taking advantage of local amenities.

Decoration and atmosphere

The architecture of this facility is particularly open to the outside world. In keeping with this architecture, and to highlight the view of the Atlantic Ocean, the decor favors soft colors. With its range of beige hues, it goes perfectly with the natural materials used: linen, wood and rattan. The furniture is simple and elegant, with lots of curved lines. This creates a relaxing, vacation atmosphere. The colors used (ochre, grey…) are immediately reminiscent of the beach!

The outdoor areas are adorned with palm trees and other exotic plants, which can also be found on the beach. The hotel is in harmony with its natural surroundings!

PLAN YOUR STAY IN Morro Jable

The room

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Its simple, contemporary furnishings, in beige and grey tones, ensured that you never looked away from the magnificent sea view! The natural materials (wood, linen) gave it a warm feel, as did the small decorative touches (photo of the sea…).

It was also functional and well-equipped. In the office corner, we found a Nespresso coffeemaker and capsules, glasses, cups and several types of tea. In the lounge area, we were delighted to discover a booklet with all the hotel’s practical information, but above all a welcome letter with our name on it, as well as a plate of fruit, a bottle of water and a sweet wine from Cruz Conde. It was really nice to cool off when you arrived! We also had towels in a beach bag and slippers.

Finally, our balcony was large and equipped with 2 very comfortable deckchairs. On the right, we had a view of the hotel pool, the beach and Morro Jable, and on the left, the beach as far as the eye could see!

The bathroom

Our bathroom was modern and open to the corridor. It was equipped with two washbasins, a separate toilet and a large walk-in shower. The water pressure was good and the towels soft. A bathrobe, toiletries and hairdryer were provided.

The breakfast

Although room service is available, breakfast at this hotel is buffet-style. We were impressed by the choice of products on offer, both sweet (pastries, dairy products, cereals, churros) and savoury (cheeses, cold meats, cooked eggs, beans, sausages, falafel, puff pastries…). Pancakes were made on request.

The dining room for this quality breakfast was pleasant, with a natural atmosphere (wooden furniture, plants…). Guests in premium rooms have the best breakfast tables, on the terrace just above the beach.

This hotel offers a range of facilities and services for guests, including:

Beach access

Fuerteventura is famous for its heavenly beaches. Playa del Matorral, at the foot of the hotel, is one of them. This white sand beach is very large. Supervised, it has a private area with deckchairs close to the hotel. Bathers and sailors share the sea with ease. Access to this beach is very quick from the hotel.

The restoration

The hotel features a bar overlooking the sea and beach. Located on the terrace, it offers a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. This accommodation also features a buffet restaurant, with local cuisine and 2 themed evenings a week. Dinner is included in the package and offers a wide variety of starters, main courses and desserts. Whatever your diet, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for!

The hotel has its own parking lot, but it’s on a dead-end street. A number is assigned to each seat. This service is available at an additional cost of €3 per day.

For people with reduced mobility

This establishment is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility. It has elevators and access chairs for the pool and communal areas. In addition, it offers PRM-accessible rooms, equipped with ramps, adapted bathrooms and all the amenities required for guest comfort.

Is Hotel XQ El Palacete family-friendly?

This accommodation is not particularly suitable for families, but may be possible for a couple with a child. In fact, the rooms can only accommodate 3 people (1 sofa and 2 single beds).
