Why stay at Hotel Buganvilla & Spa?
This hotel offers a complete range of services for a relaxing stay by the sea. In fact, we’ve listed it among the best all-inclusive hotels in Fuerteventura. Here, in our opinion, are the 3 main assets of this establishment:
- Proximité avec la Playa del Matorral: depuis l’hôtel, quelques minutes de marche suffisent pour rejoindre cette immense plage de sable blanc, prisée aussi bien pour se détendre que pour les activités nautiques.
- Friendly atmosphere: unlike some other resorts, this hotel is more modest in size, giving it a warmer atmosphere.
- Spa: the spa area is luxurious and well-equipped. In addition to a large indoor pool, treatments and massages are also available. We loved diving into the fish tanks!

Is Hotel Buganvilla & Spa worth it? Our review
We think this hotel is an excellent option if you appreciate the activities and facilities of resorts, but less so their size and atmosphere, which can sometimes seem cold and impersonal. If so, this is the place for you, with its spa, gym and friendly atmosphere. In fact, we’ve listed it among the best hotels in Morro Jable.
Decoration and atmosphere
The decor of this establishment is sober and classic, with a predominance of white and brown tones. Geometric tiling harmonizes this aesthetic aspect throughout the hotel. We liked the furniture, which brought a contemporary touch to the whole. Likewise, the wooden elements made for a cosier, warmer atmosphere.
What we liked best was the presence of plants throughout the facility. Upon entering, there were several exotic plants and a small fountain. We were immediately immersed in a relaxing environment!
Upstairs, there were even patios with palm trees between each room! It was ideal for us to immediately feel like we were on vacation. Thanks to the opening to the outside, there was plenty of light, and with the lampposts and railings we felt like we were entering a real little house!
HAVE FUN WITH THESE activities
- Dolphin watching
- Boat to Lobos Island
- Buggy tour
- But also; surfing lessons, 4WD tour in Cofete, windsurfing, scuba diving…
The room
The room, too, was sober and classic, to please as many people as possible. We went back to the brown and white tones of the common areas, but a wall painted in water-green added a touch of freshness. The contemporary furniture was comfortable, especially the sofa in the lounge area. The antique floor tiles, adorned with an ornamental frieze, added character and authenticity to the room.
Room amenities included a safe, minibar, bottled water, kettle, two cups and two glasses of water. It had a small balcony and a partial sea view. Please note, however, that other room types offer full ocean views.

The bathroom
The bathroom was clean, modern and functional. It included a shower large enough to make us comfortable. On the other hand, it was only equipped with a hairdryer, towels and washing gel in the shower.
The breakfast
Breakfast is served in the form of a varied continental buffet. You can sample homemade products, both savoury and sweet. While there were a few cakes, the sweet buffet was refreshingly full of fruit.
When it comes to breakfast, you’ll be spoilt for choice. There are comfortable terraces or the dining area, which is pleasant because it’s partly outdoors.
