Fuerteventura has a wide choice of hotels that are less than 5 minutes’ walk from a beach, but you can even have your feet in the water!
In this article, we’ve chosen our favorites that offer the complete seaside experience: a sea view and direct access to a beach!
Our choice was based on the quality of the hotel and the quality of the beach.
What’s more, Fuerteventura’s beaches are among the most beautiful in the Canary Islands.
1. Iberostar Palace Hotel
Why stay at the Iberostar Palace hotel?
For a 5-star level of service, the Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace hotel is one of two options in Morro Jable. We really appreciated its privileged location above a beautiful, quiet sandy beach. It’s easy to relax by the sea and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters.
The hotel’s large swimming pools are a real asset, offering areas ideal for relaxation and leisure. For those opting for the Star-Prestige level, the exclusive additional pool adds a touch of luxury and intimacy to the experience, given that the hotel is very large indeed.
Our spacious room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. We appreciated the generous space that allowed us to relax in full view of the sea.

2. INNSide Hotel
Why stay at the INNSide Fuerteventura hotel?
We loved our stay at the INNSide hotel in Costa Calma and highly recommend it. It offers an unforgettable experience thanks to its enchanting bohemian chic decor. And it’s not too big, which is also very pleasant.
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the magnificent wood and concrete textures that adorn the common areas, creating an atmosphere that is both natural and elegant. The spacious rooms, bathed in natural light, offer views of the surrounding countryside and the serene expanse of the sea.
The peacefulness of this establishment adds a touch of serenity to your stay, allowing you to relax to the full. The buffet restaurant is of an excellent standard, with a wide variety of tasty dishes. This is one of our favorite hotels in Fuerteventura.
Swimming pool and beach
- Full-length infinity pool. We loved sitting in the water and admiring the unobstructed view.
- Access to the immense Sotavento de Jandia beach. But you have to walk a bit to get to the water, as the beach is very large. You have access to miles of walking paths with your feet in the water and sand.

3. Barcelo Royal Level Hotel
Why stay at the Barcelo Royal hotel
The Barcelo Royal Level hotel in Caleta de Fuste is an excellent luxury option thanks to its excellent location, just a few steps from the beach. Lovers of idleness and swimming will be delighted by the proximity of the sea.
Surrounded by greenery, the hotel’s suites offer a pleasant, spacious ambience. It’s a pleasure to relax in this comfortable space, while the private terrace adds an extra touch of privacy. Enjoying the peaceful views over the lush gardens while sipping a drink is a most soothing experience.
It’s not too big a hotel, but in a big complex, and you have access to all the activities and facilities.
The only negative point: in our opinion, the buffet was not up to the standard of the hotel’s other services.
Swimming pool and beach
We really enjoyed the full-length pool facing the sea.
The choice of seats and pool beds was very pleasant. It’s not huge, but as it’s only for the Royal Adults-only hotel, it’s sufficient.
We also had access to the spa pools, which are shared by all Barcelo hotels.
As for the beach, it’s hard to get much closer. You can see it from the pool and just walk a few metres to get your feet in the sand! Who needs shoes on vacation?

4. Hotel XQ Palacete
Why stay at the XQ Palacete hotel?
The greatest asset of the XQ Palacete hotel in Morro Jable is its privileged location for an unforgettable stay in the Canaries. Located close to the old town, you can easily explore the city’s charms and try out its restaurants. What’s more, the hotel is located right above the beach, allowing you to enjoy moments of relaxation and admire the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
We enjoyed our spacious room with balcony and sea view. We found it the ideal place to enjoy the sunrise over the sea or to be lulled by the soothing sound of the waves.
We appreciated the smaller size of the hotel for more personalized service, especially the restaurant services on the terrace above the sand and sea.

5. Hotel La Marquesina
Why stay at Hotel La Marquesina
Hotel La Marquesina in Corralejo is a real nugget in Corralejo (in our opinion). Its modern design, judiciously combining glass and wood, creates an elegant, contemporary aesthetic. As soon as you arrived, we were struck by the brightness in every corner of the building, creating a welcoming, soothing atmosphere.
Our spacious room, located in the corner of the building, offered a breathtaking view of the bustling city on one side, and the port and island of Lobos on the other. The small terrace was a perfect space to sip a morning coffee while admiring the cityscape and beach below. However, the real gem was the hotel’s rooftop, where a small pool, bar and even a swing awaited us for moments of absolute relaxation, all with a breathtaking panoramic view.
The hotel team gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, adding a personal and friendly touch to our stay.
Just be aware that this hotel is right in the center of town, so there’s noise all around in the evenings.
Swimming pool and beach
The hotel has a small swimming pool on the roof terrace. It’s not suitable for swimming, but it’s a great place to cool off with an exceptional view. For the record, we didn’t take the above photo with a drone, it’s just that part of the terrace is even higher up so that everyone can enjoy the views!
What’s more, just down the road from the hotel is Playa Corralejo, one of the city’s main beaches: fine sand and emerald-colored water.

6. Las Playitas Hotel
Why choose it
This hotel doesn’t have the full all-inclusive because it’s a sports hotel. But they do offer full board, ideal for those looking to enjoy, spend and relax.
The location is quiet and beautiful, overlooking a large black sand beach.
You have access to a huge number of sports facilities: 5 swimming pools, tennis courts, badminton, golf course, mini-golf, climbing wall, boxing gym…

The complex offers 5 outdoor pools, including one for children (divided between this hotel and the aparthotel).
They are open all year round.
One of the pools is infinity, another has a waterslide and one is Olympic-sized.
Just down the road from the hotel, you’ll find Las Playitas beach. It’s a long, wide beach with beautiful black sand.

7. Hotel Riu Palace Jandia (Morro Jable)
Why stay there?
The Riu Palace Jandia hotel in Morro Jable offers a prime location, being just a few steps from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the golden sands and crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. What’s more, it’s within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to explore the local charms.
In this 5-star hotel, we appreciate the friendliness of the hotel staff, making our stay more pleasant. Spacious rooms offer optimum comfort, while unobstructed sea views add a touch of serenity to the experience.
Buffets at dinner and breakfast are a treat for the taste buds, with a variety of delicious, fresh dishes to suit all tastes.
