Is the Hotel La Marquesina (Adults Only) in Fuerteventura worth it? Our review
We are very satisfied with our experience at the Hotel Boutique La Marquesina. It is conveniently located at the foot of Playa Corralejo and 7 minutes from Playa del Viejo. Other tourist attractions are within easy reach of this location. In our opinion, it’s a real nugget! Its modern design, judiciously combining glass and wood, creates an elegant, contemporary aesthetic. As soon as you arrived, we were struck by the brightness in every corner of the building, creating a welcoming, soothing atmosphere. The real gem was the hotel’s rooftop, where a small pool, bar and even a swing awaited us for moments of absolute relaxation. All with breathtaking panoramic views, day and night!
Decoration and atmosphere
We really appreciated the hotel’s clean, chic decor. Blending wood, glass and neutral tones, it gave another dimension to the island’s unique panorama. We were impressed by the glass elevator that gave access to the rooftop terrace. We could see Corralejo and the beach below. The atmosphere was very pleasant, a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment. We felt very comfortable here. Note, however, that it’s right in the center of town. So there’s a lot of noise in the evenings.
We were pleasantly surprised by the bright atmosphere in our room after dark. It enhanced the view of the illuminated city, which we could contemplate directly from our bed! In our opinion, the decor of the establishment was very successful, as it highlighted the landscape with great elegance both day and night.

The room
Our room was very bright and spacious. Decorated in shades of white and blue, it evoked the sea and highlighted the hotel’s unique setting. We particularly liked the huge, comfortable cushions, which added a discreet touch of color. The few marine decorations that completed the room gave the place a lot of charm and warmth. Room amenities included a kettle, coffee machine, minibar, iron and ironing board.
The view from our room was spectacular. Located in the lively district of Corralejo, the establishment boasts a superb panorama of city, land and sea. Our balcony overlooked the seaside resort. We watched the sun decline until nightfall. The scenery was breathtaking. The city lights were reflected in the sea, which undulated before our eyes.

The bathroom
The bathroom in our room was very pleasant and open to the room. It included a bath, slippers and care products bearing the hotel’s name. The decor was a continuation of the night space, in white and blue.
While taking a shower in the bath, we noticed that the glass was transparent around the head. So we could admire the view while taking a shower!
The breakfast
The hotel’s breakfast is served à la carte. You’ll be able to choose from a range of dishes prepared on site using fresh produce, and opt for savoury, sweet or both! English-style, vegetarian and gluten-free breakfast options are also available. What’s more, the view from the terrace was charming. We could see the waterfront gradually waking up.
Equipment and common areas
This hotel boasts top-quality facilities:
- a Pool Bar,
- a large terrace overlooking the town and the beach,
- one balcony per room.
Pool
The hotel has a small swimming pool on its roof terrace. It’s not ideal for swimming, but it’s a great place to cool off with an exceptional view. For the record, we didn’t take the above photo with a drone. Part of the terrace is even higher up, so that everyone can enjoy the view!

The restoration
The hotel has no restaurant. However, we were won over by the rooftop Pool Bar, which boasts a large terrace with incredible panoramic views over the bay.
Located in Corralejo’s old town center, you’ll be able to discover some great places to eat nearby. In fact, we’ve written a full article on the city’s best restaurants. Here are our 4 favorite tables:
