Is the Hotel Secrets Bahía Real (Resort & Spa) in Corralejo worth it? Our review
Yes, totally! It is one of our favorite establishments on the island of Fuerteventura. In fact, we’ve listed it in our article on the best hotels in Corralejo. What really sets it apart is its warm, intimate atmosphere, despite its size. Planted areas and hidden corners add a touch of charm and conviviality. We didn’t feel at all like we were in a huge hotel complex!
We recharged our batteries in this tropical oasis, with its breathtaking views over the ocean and the island of Lobos. Lounging on a deckchair in a quiet corner by the pool, we took full advantage of this top-of-the-range offer. For an even more luxurious experience, the hotel also offers the Preferred Club, which provides access to exclusive services.
Decoration and atmosphere
We really appreciated the warm, elegant decor of the hotel complex. We noticed some original details, such as geometric lighting fixtures and grid columns. The interior spaces were beautifully appointed, yet comfortable and modern.
The ambience was ideal for relaxing and getting away from it all. Vegetation was everywhere, inside and out. The many terraces charmed us. The lighting throughout the hotel was superb.
We fell in love with the large outdoor terrace, decorated with tropical plants and flowers. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast here, while taking in the beauty of the garden. It was a very pleasant and soothing experience.

The room
The decoration of our room was elegant and contemporary. The pretty blue geometric patterns that adorned the cushions, walls, lamp bases and rug added a sophisticated touch to the ensemble. The tiled floor, representative of the Canary Islands, contrasted with the modern decor and added authenticity. We loved the original designer coffee table in the center of the room. The frame hanging on the wall, all relief and shapes, intrigued us. We also discovered a digital tablet that broadcast real-time information on the hotel’s activity program.
The real highlight of the room was the large bay window opening onto a charming balcony. We were impressed by the exceptional landscape in front of us. The Atlantic Ocean stretched out before us, and we could even make out the island of Lobos on the horizon. In our photo, you can see the pontoons installed on the beach.
The view from our room was spectacular. We watched the sun gradually decline until nightfall. A panorama we won’t soon forget!

The bathroom
Our bathroom was very pleasant. It had lovely decorative details, which gave it a lot of character. It included a bath in which we could also take a shower if we wished. We liked the large double-sink basin with its ornaments.
The room was really charming. We fell in love with the arabesques engraved on the bathtub wall. Aged-effect tiles also added cachet to the bathroom. A kit of treatment products bearing the hotel’s name was provided, along with bathrobes and slippers to guarantee total relaxation!
The breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel took the form of a large buffet offering a wide variety of products, both sweet and savory. It included Spanish cured meats such as chorizo and lomo. We enjoyed the choice of cheeses and raw and cooked vegetables. With slices of salmon and ham, bacon, eggs, sausages, a selection of breads, pastries, cakes, cereals and fruit, you’ll find everything you need to get your day off to a good start!
There are also vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free options, as well as a variety of plant-based milks. We recommend that you have breakfast on the outdoor terrace, to take advantage of the unique setting. A gourmet wake-up call with a change of scenery!

Swimming pools
The hotel’s 2 outdoor pools were really its main asset. We particularly appreciated the curves of the pools and the tropical vegetation surrounding them. This design created a number of small relaxation areas, offering quiet seclusion.
The indoor pool was also very large and pleasant. We really liked the mosaics on the floor and columns. The large bay window provided plenty of natural light.
