Why choose Corralejo to stay in Fuerteventura?
It’s one of the best places to stay in Fuerteventura! The hotel offer is excellent, with a great variety: boutique hotels, apartments, villas with swimming pools, all-inclusive resorts…
You also have access to beautiful beaches, the island of Lobos, numerous restaurants and lots of activities.
And, if you’ve got kids, Corralejo is the only place in Fuerteventura with a water park.

Sleeping in the old town
To the north of Corralejo are the old town and the port. Here, lots of narrow streets and small buildings.
Benefits:

- Easy access to the port

- Noisy
- More difficult to park
Sleep on the central beaches
South of the old town is Corralejo’s main beach: Playa de los Verilitos. In all the surrounding streets, you’ll find a wide choice of accommodation: hotels and apartments.
Benefits:
- Small beaches just a stone’s throw from the hotel
- Lots of atmosphere
- Plenty of restaurants
- A little quieter than the old town
Disadvantages:
- Less charm, more hotels
On the “heights” of the city
A little further from the beaches, to the south of the town center, is another cave area with a small shopping center and housing.
Benefits:
- Calm
- Lower price because further from the beach
- Easy departure to explore the island
- Easy parking
Disadvantages:
- You have to take the car to get to the beach
- Few restaurants
Sleeping around the dunes
Finally, if you head east, you’ll find the Corralejo Dunes Nature Park. At the start of the park, you’ll find a number of hotels.
Benefits:
- Next to very long sandy beaches where you can walk
- Superb sea views
- Beautiful beaches
- Easy parking
Disadvantages:
- No restaurants
- Further from town (you have to drive)

Corralejo is a popular tourist destination. We therefore advise you to book as early as possible to have a choice of hotels and better prices.

- But you can also choose a larger one if you wish, as the parking spaces are rather large.

1. Hotel Boutique La Marquesina (adults-only)
Why stay at Hotel La Marquesina
Hotel La Marquesina in Corralejo is a real nugget in Corralejo (in our opinion). Its modern design, judiciously combining glass and wood, creates an elegant, contemporary aesthetic. As soon as you arrived, we were struck by the brightness in every corner of the building, creating a welcoming, soothing atmosphere.
Our spacious room, located in the corner of the building, offered a breathtaking view of the bustling city on one side, and the port and island of Lobos on the other. The small terrace was a perfect space to sip a morning coffee while admiring the cityscape and beach below. However, the real gem was the hotel’s rooftop, where a small pool, bar and even a swing awaited us for moments of absolute relaxation, all with a breathtaking panoramic view.
The hotel staff gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, adding a personal and friendly touch to our stay.
Just be aware that this hotel is right in the center of town, so there’s a lot of noise around in the evenings.
Swimming pool and beach
The hotel has a small swimming pool on the roof terrace. It’s not suitable for swimming, but it’s a great place to cool off with an exceptional view. For the record, we didn’t take the above photo with a drone, it’s just that part of the terrace is even higher up so that everyone can enjoy the views!
What’s more, just down the road from the hotel is Playa Corralejo, one of the city’s main beaches: fine sand and emerald-colored water.

2. Secrets Bahia Real Resort Hotel (adults-only)
Why stay at the Secret Bahia hotel
If you’re looking for a luxury hotel in Corralejo, we really like the Secrets Bahia hotel. In fact, it was one of our favorite 5-star hotels in Fuerteventura.
The superb views of the sea and the island of Lobos are breathtaking, creating a spectacular backdrop for an unforgettable vacation. The beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by magnificent palm trees and dotted with quiet spots, gives the impression of being in a real tropical oasis, far from the hustle and bustle.
What also sets this hotel apart is its warm, intimate atmosphere, despite its size. Well-appointed spaces and hidden nooks add a touch of charm and conviviality, creating an ambience that’s nothing like that of a huge hotel complex.
A real favorite was the small garden terrace, where we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast al fresco. It was an authentic experience, offering a peaceful atmosphere.

The hotel’s swimming pool is really its strongest asset. We particularly liked the curves of the pools, and the palm trees and other plants, which create smaller spaces where everyone can find peace and quiet.
There’s also a beach right in front of the hotel with deckchairs and cabanas on the water. But the beach isn’t all sand: there are also rocks and popcorn-shaped coral reefs.

Why stay at the Barcelo Corralejo Sands hotel?
The Barcelo Corralejo Sands hotel offers a pleasant stay thanks to its central location, making it easy to enjoy the charms of the city. The spacious rooms are a haven of comfort, offering all the space you need to relax after a busy day. What we liked most was the careful design of the hotel, which avoids the massive appearance often associated with large properties. This creates a welcoming, convivial atmosphere.
A particular advantage for families with young children is the dedicated area specially designed for them. With an adapted swimming pool and play area, parents can easily keep an eye on their children while enjoying moments of relaxation. It’s the perfect place to play together and create precious family memories.

Why stay at the Island Home hotel
The Island Home aparthotel is a valuable find for budget-conscious travelers, offering exceptional value for money. The homes are carefully furnished in a modern style, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Generous space and thoughtful amenities add a touch of convenience to your stay.
In our opinion, one of the major advantages is the well-equipped kitchen, which means you can prepare your own meals and avoid eating out all the time.
We also loved the soothing calm of the place, creating a relaxing atmosphere conducive to rest. The stunningly beautiful swimming pool invites you to relax and offers a peaceful place to cool off and recharge your batteries.

Why stay at the Tao Caleta Mar hotel?
The Tao Caleta Mar hotel in Corralejo offers a holiday experience that exudes space and serenity. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sense of infinity that emanates from the surroundings. Our room offered a spectacular view of the beach stretching as far as the eye could see, with the dunes and the island of Lobos on the horizon. It’s an invitation to contemplation and relaxation.
The hotel’s swimming pool is pleasant, with a wall of windows looking directly out over the sea and horizon. You can bathe while admiring the breathtaking view, creating a unique and soothing experience.
One of the strong points of this hotel is its layout, which favors space and tranquility. Nothing is tamped down, creating a peaceful atmosphere conducive to relaxation. What’s more, despite this quiet atmosphere, the hotel is only a 20-minute walk from the city center, giving you easy access to stores, restaurants and entertainment. It’s right on the edge of the dunes nature park.

Why sleep in a hotel
Hotel Bahiazul offers a luxurious and memorable holiday experience thanks to its private villas with individual swimming pools. It’s a real privilege to dive into your own pool while enjoying the privacy and comfort of your own space. We appreciated the charm of the place, with its color palette between white and blue, embellished with exotic plants, creating an enchanting atmosphere that invites relaxation.
The villas are meticulously equipped to guarantee your comfort, with a special mention for the barbecue, perfect for organizing al fresco meals and taking full advantage of the outdoor spaces.
The hotel staff also deserve a commendation for their kindness and availability.

Another notable advantage is the variety of the evening buffet. With a diverse selection of dishes, there’s something for everyone, which is particularly appreciated after a day of adventure and discovery.

Why stay at the Playa Park Zensation hotel?
At the Playa Park Zensation hotel, we enjoyed its spacious pools, complete with a small slide, and also the adults-only rooftop pool. Beautiful views of the sea and volcanoes! We found the rooms modern and well appointed. They offer all the comforts you need to rest after a day of adventure.
What’s more, the hotel’s location is a real asset, not only close to the beach, but also next to the charming El Campanario shopping center.

12. Hotel Riu Palace Tres Islas
Why stay at the Riu Palace Tres Islas hotel?
We were a little less inspired by the hotels in the heart of the Corralejo dunes. It’s probably because they’re in a protected place, and we’re disturbed by it. But they were built before.
But it’s true that having access to this magnificent sandy beach right at the foot of the hotel is a real pleasure, especially when you like to walk for miles with your feet in the sand and water.
Of the two hotels, we prefer the Tres Islas with its sea-facing balconies.
