10. Oliver tapas bar
You can’t visit the Canary Islands without trying the delicious tapas of Fuerteventura. Push open the door of Oliver’s tapas bar, sit back and enjoy the view of the palm-lined street, and opt for a signature or classic cocktail, but fresh, with or without alcohol. Spirits cocktails are also on the menu: with champagne, gin or vodka. Do you prefer sangria? Don’t worry, it’s one of the bar’s specialties. We spent an exquisite time there in a warm atmosphere.

On the menu, we had a choice of homemade tapas and Canarian specialties, burgers and desserts. A short menu, but one that works, with a wide choice of tapas, each more tempting than the last. It was hard to choose because we wanted to taste everything. Spinach and ricotta cannelloni, garlic shrimp and melon with ham were a real crowd-pleaser!

12. Restaurant La Casita
Do you know “La Casita”? In Spanish, it means “little house”. We pushed open the door of this intimate little cocoon and discovered a charming place. This restaurant is housed in a lovely 2-star hotel. Its traditional seaside architecture, with its white walls and red tiles, won us over. The blue stripes recall the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean, while the many succulents add a warm, inviting touch.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is now closed.
They have now opened an It restaurant. Different Restaurant Bar elsewhere, but we haven’t tried it yet.
