I love the INNSide hotel. It’s a quiet, off-center location with a completely unobstructed view of the immense Sotavento beach. We loved the bohemian chic decor throughout the hotel, the infinity pool and the excellent restaurant.

Where to stay in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura: best areas
Why stay here?
Costa Calma is the ideal place to stay for those in search of beautiful beaches and peace and quiet. It’s a place almost entirely dedicated to tourists, but it’s still very quiet. This is one of the best places to stay in Fuerteventura!

Staying downtown

Benefits:
- Direct access to the long main beach for sunbathing, ocean swimming and water sports without having to travel long distances.
- Easy access to all restaurants and stores
Disadvantages:
- There are fewer parking spaces than outside hotels, which have their own dedicated parking lot.
- Hotels have less unobstructed views
Sleeping in the south of the city

To the south of the town center, you’ll find two pretty sandy coves: Playa Esmeralda Norte and Playa Esmeralda. And, even further south, you have access to the start of the immense Sotavento beach.
Benefits:
- Beautiful beaches at the foot of the hotels
- Hotels with unobstructed views
- No parking problems
Disadvantages:
- Away from the city center, restaurants and stores
Sleeping in the north of the city

To the north of the main beach is Punta de los Molinillos with several hotels.

- Beach at the foot of the hotel and easy access to the long Costa Calma beach
- Some hotels have unobstructed views

Sleeping in Morro Jable
If you’re looking for a livelier city center, you can also choose to stay in Morro Jable, 20 minutes from Costa Calma.
1. Hotel INNSide Fuerteventura (adults-only)

Why stay there?
We loved our stay at the INNSide hotel in Costa Calma and highly recommend it. It offers an unforgettable experience thanks to its enchanting bohemian chic decor. And it’s not too big, which is also very nice.
From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the magnificent wood and concrete textures that adorn the common areas, creating an atmosphere that is both natural and elegant. The spacious rooms, bathed in natural light, offer views of the surrounding countryside and the serene expanse of the sea.
The peacefulness of this establishment adds a touch of serenity to your stay, allowing you to relax to the full. The buffet restaurant is of an excellent standard, with a wide variety of tasty dishes.

Swimming pool and beach
- Full-length infinity pool. We loved sitting in the water and admiring the unobstructed view.
- Access to the immense Sotavento de Jandia beach. But you have to walk a bit to get to the water, as the beach is very large. You have access to miles of walking paths with your feet in the water and sand.

2. Hotel H10 Playa Esmeralda – Adults Only

Why stay there?
As soon as you enter the H10 Playa Esmeralda hotel in Costa Calma, you’re amazed by its colorful decor and the grandeur of the building. Inside, spacious rooms welcome you with every comfort. Some also offer magnificent views of the sparkling sea, which stretches its horizon as far as the eye can see.
This hotel is ideal for travelers seeking a wide range of activities. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to the various leisure options on offer, from sports and spa relaxation to excursions and time by the pool.
What’s more, the H10 Playa Esmeralda is an ideal choice for those wishing to enjoy a child-free stay. The serene atmosphere and ambient calm create a soothing vacation experience, perfect for couples or travelers in search of tranquility.

- But you can also choose a larger one if you wish, as the parking spaces are rather large.

3. Hotel H10 Tindaya (family)

Why stay there?
We found the H10 Tindaya hotel to have a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The bright, sunny colors adorning the common areas create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding.
What’s more, the hotel enjoys a privileged location close to the magnificent beaches of Costa Calma or the city center.
For families traveling with young children, the H10 Tindaya offers a variety of activities suitable for the little ones. Play areas, children’s clubs and fun activities are carefully designed to provide fun and enjoyment for young travelers, while parents can relax in peace and quiet.

The Bahia Calma Beach hotel in Costa Calma is an excellent option for a pleasant stay in the Canaries. We enjoyed our well-equipped apartment with kitchen (which offers real autonomy).
The charm of this establishment lies in its alleys lined with small buildings, creating a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. The simple, harmonious architecture blends in perfectly with the surrounding environment, contributing to an authentic Costa Calma experience.
What’s more, the Bahia Calma Beach hotel’s central location is a real asset. Right in the heart of the city, you’ll be close to stores, restaurants and local attractions, making it easy to get around and discover the essence of this charming destination.

Why stay there?
Hotel Cooee Taimar in Costa Calma is a gem, offering a unique boutique hotel experience in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The modern, elegant decor creates a refined atmosphere, without being pretentious. You’ll feel instantly at home in this chic, relaxing environment, inviting you to unwind fully.
The hotel’s excellent restaurant is also a good reason to choose it. You’ll be delighted by the variety of dishes on offer and the quality of the cuisine.
It’s worth noting, however, that it’s not right next to the beach. It’s ideal for those planning to rent a car to explore the beautiful island of Fuerteventura and discover all it has to offer.

7. Hotel R2 Pajara Beach

Why stay there?
The R2 Paraja hotel in Costa Calma offers spacious accommodation to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms themselves are equally spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind.
Although we weren’t totally charmed by the hotel’s design, we did like the way the space was highlighted by the separate pools. This brings a less massive feel to the establishment, and allows you to enjoy moments of tranquility.
The hotel is well maintained, which is reflected in the well-kept appearance of the facilities. The variety of food on offer in the restaurant was a real treat for our taste buds.
