1. Restaurant Lo Nuestro (Bistronomic, Morro Jable)
Another of our favourite addresses in Fuerteventura: the Restaurant Lo Nuestro. EleganceThis bistronomic restaurant in the city has nothing wrong with it. Everything was perfect! When we arrived at the hotel, we loved the view of the palm trees and the ocean in the background. The large bay windows gave the impression of enlarging the space and looking out into the distance. It was a very pleasant sensation throughout the meal. We almost imagined ourselves in front of a painting where the large palm leaves and the Morro Jable lighthouse contrasted with the cloudless blue sky in the background. An image we won’t forget!
We were first tempted by the beet hummus sprinkled with fresh goat’s cheese, cherry tomatoes and basil. A light, melt-in-the-mouth starter to whet the appetite, with an interesting marriage of flavors and textures. For the main course, the smoked salmon with avocado ice cream and strawberry salmorejo won us over. It really was a superb combination of flavors, heat and textures, with a little sparkle on the palate to boot.
The chef’s creativity is impressive, and the dishes are full of surprising flavors and textures. Also, the team was very smiling and passionate. We have fond memories of this high-quality meal. Go ahead with your eyes closed!

2. Restaurant Salvaje (Bistronomic, Morro Jable)
I’m sure you’re familiar with our taste for good food. Restaurant Salvaje in Morro Jable was one of our favorites on the island of Fuerteventura. We noticed that the establishment welcomed a lot of regular customers. The team in the dining room was very warm and attentive, and we felt very much at ease in a setting that gives pride of place to natural materials.
This is a really good choice, especially if you’re looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city but within easy walking distance. We loved the original and tasty tapas, as well as the soft homemade bread.
We opted for 3 courses of tapas, the restaurant’s specialty. First, lightly fried local shrimps, to be eaten with the shell on. We then opted for the artichoke confit with yoghurt sauce and Mojo, typical of the Canary Islands. Finally, the last course combined flavors and textures that were both sweet and full of character: cannelloni with goat’s meat and pumpkin sauce.
After all this delicious food, how can you resist a little dessert to end on a sweet note? We spotted the chocolate hazelnut cake before placing our first order. We were not disappointed, it was very tasty!

3. Restaurant Baobab Juice Bar (vegetarian, Corralejo)
Beautiful, colorfully patterned plates, but above all hearty and delicious, that’s what you’ll find at the Baobab Juice Bar Restaurant in Corralejo, just a 2-minute walk from theVacanzy Boutique Hotel. Who says gourmet food doesn’t go hand in hand with vegan cuisine? Before we talk gastronomy, did you know that the baobab is also known as the tree of life? With its imposing trunk, it has medicinal properties, particularly the pulp of its fruit. In the villages of tropical Africa, the baobab is also a compass and a meeting place. That’s what the owner-cooks of this vegan restaurant in Fuerteventura set out to create. A place where contacts are made and relationships initiated over healthy, original dishes.
Since July 2014, it’s more than a restaurant but a real lifestyle advocated by this establishment to preserve the environment and the health of their customers.
To quench your thirst, you’ll find refreshing waters, craft beers (with alcohol-free or gluten-free options) and a variety of house cocktails and smoothies on the menu. On the menu, rice paper rolls that take you around the world: New York style, Japanese style, Iraqi style or Indonesian style. Our dishes were tasty and well-stocked. We’ll definitely be back!

4. Restaurant D Vales Bay (fish, Corralejo)
Facing the bay of Corralejo on an open, glassed-in terrace, we enjoyed a meal that exceeded our expectations. To start things off at Restaurant D Vales Bay’s refined table, a non-alcoholic mojito refreshed us before we got down to business. A wide choice of house cocktails is available à la carte.
Accompanied by a knob of truffle butter, we were served warm, soft bread to awaken our palate. On this menu between land and sea, we were tempted by the first course of marinated raw salmon with tapenade, followed by red tuna ceviche with avocado. Finally, our main course was as beautiful as it was good: sea bass fillet with marinated shellfish and artichokes.
The restaurant’s setting was truly relaxing: views of the ocean, the sailboats moored in the harbor and the volcanic dunes of Corralejo. Inside, raw materials such as wood and marble combine to create contrasts. These disparities are a reminder of the surprising charm of the Canaries’ landscapes, with their mix of mountains, dunes, beaches, verdant vegetation and volcanic rock. The chef seeks to reflect this diversity in his simple, authentic yet delicate cuisine.

5. Restaurant 15 (Bistronomic, Caleta De Fuste)
Looking for a place to eat healthy in Caleta de Fuste with an original menu? It’s a no-brainer. After a trip to the Playa del Castillo beach, we stopped for lunch at Restaurant 15 and were pleasantly surprised! A charming, flowery setting, a short, sophisticated menu where everything is homemade, British notes combined with the exoticism of the Canary Islands… This is truly a must-try restaurant in this seaside resort before or after a swim, to enjoy an unusual meal.
On the menu, you’ll be transported right from the starters. Thai-style fish croquettes with chili sauce, chicken skewer salad marinated in tequila and lime juice, trio of breaded cheeses served with red currant and tomato jam sauce. Follow with a duck effiloché with ginger sauce, or a filet mignon roll with bacon and red wine jus.
As you can see below, we let ourselves be tempted by a dessert, as English pastries have a reputation for being succulent. And we confirm it!

6. Restaurant The Ugly Duckling (original, Corralejo)
Another address not to be missed in Corralejo: The Ugly Duckling Restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended, as there may be a slight wait, but the establishment is well worth the detour. Are you tempted by Scandinavian bistronomy? Then come to this table where the dishes are out of the ordinary. First of all, the starters, which, according to the chef, should awaken your senses and surprise you, while leaving enough space for the main course. Beef carpaccio and parmesan, Iberian ham with chorizo and local goat’s cheese, or garlic-marinated shrimp, where do you start?
For the main course, 3 tender meats are served with baked, mashed or homemade potato chips: salmon fillet, beef fillet or chicken breast. You can then choose from 4 sauces to enhance your dish: mushroom, béarnaise, onion cream or pepper. Round off your meal with one of the chef’s 4 sweet desserts. The menu is small and simple, ensuring freshness, quality and flavor. Enjoy your meal!
